Eternity Rings…. Show how you feel….

An Eternity ring can be described as an anniversary ring or dress ring. Sometimes they are used as wedding rings. There are two main types of eternity ring, a half eternity ring or full. This ring is usually worn on the wedding finger, which is the third finger on the left hand.

There is an order that is suggested when wearing the eternity ring, although there is no real science behind this, it should be relative to the engagement t and wedding ring. In some cases it can just be what feels or fits better around other rings on your finger. It some cases the eternity ring does replace the engagement ring.

Eternity rings come in many styles, the preferred type is the half eternity ring, and this is simply because it can be adjusted a lot easier. The claw settings have been more fashionable than other, more attractive and practical setting styles. Although there are many claw set eternity rings available, a setting style where the stones are set into the metal of the shank, such as “grain”, “flush” or pavĂ© are to be preferred. These styles are sometimes confused with “channel” setting, but are more secure. (more…)
